This Privacy Policy explains how Borchani handles personal information when you visit borchani.com, contact us, or use a Borchani service. Borchani is a remote-first organization with a business address at Ayteke Bi 15, Astana 010000, Kazakhstan. Feature-specific notices presented in a service supplement this policy.
For privacy requests, contact support@borchani.com. Please do not include passwords, API keys, payment card details, or sensitive project data in an email request.
Information involved in using this website
- Information you provide: an email to us contains your email address, any name or other contact details you include, your message, and any attachments you choose to send. We receive only what you submit through that channel.
- Technical request information: your browser sends an IP address, requested page, time of request, browser and device information, and similar connection data to the site’s hosting infrastructure. This information is needed to deliver pages, diagnose failures, and protect the site against abuse.
- Browser preferences: the site stores your language and display-mode choices in your browser’s local storage. These preferences are kept on your device until you change them or clear site data. They are not an account profile.
The public website does not ask visitors to enter a Social Security number, payment card number, or project prompt. Do not send that information by email. The website does not currently load a third-party analytics script or an advertising pixel. We will update this policy before introducing materially different tracking.
Information involved in using the workspace
When you create an account or use the workspace, we process the account details you provide, authentication and security records, prompts, uploaded files, project content, generated output, and usage information needed to operate the service. If you purchase a plan, we receive transaction details such as the plan, payment status, and billing contact information from the payment provider. The payment provider handles payment card details. Do not include passwords, payment card numbers, or other highly sensitive information in prompts or support messages.
Why information is used
We use request and usage information to deliver and secure the website and workspace, investigate errors and abuse, and maintain the service. We process account details to authenticate users and manage access, project content to provide the features you request, and transaction details to administer purchases and meet accounting obligations. We use messages and contact details to answer inquiries, provide support, handle privacy requests, and keep a record of the correspondence when needed to resolve an issue or meet a legal obligation. Browser preferences are used only to display the site in the language and color mode you selected. We do not use a visit to the public website to submit a prompt to an AI model.
The workspace described on the site uses AI models to help create and refine web applications. Visiting a public page does not, by itself, send your page view as a workspace prompt. When you use an AI feature, the content you submit and relevant project context may be sent to a model provider to generate a response. Feature-specific notices identify additional data practices where they apply.
Service providers and disclosures
The public website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes technical requests to deliver and protect the site. Email providers process messages sent to our support address. Hosting, authentication, payment, and AI model providers process information needed to deliver their respective features under our arrangements with them. We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect users or the site, or investigate suspected misuse. If the business is reorganized, relevant records may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law. Links to social networks, GitHub, and other websites take you to services with their own privacy practices.
We do not describe technical service delivery as a sale of personal information. Based on the public website code, we do not use advertising trackers or sell or share website visitor information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If these practices change, the relevant disclosures and choices must be updated.
Retention and deletion
Retention is based on the purpose of the information and any applicable legal, security, or dispute requirements. These are the retention periods and criteria for the website and workspace:

We review information when its purpose ends and delete or de-identify it where feasible, subject to backups, legal holds, and provider-controlled records. Contact us if you need the retention criterion for a particular request or record.
Security and international access
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the public website to limit access to information and protect site delivery. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Your information may be processed in Kazakhstan and in countries where our service providers operate. Those countries may have different privacy laws.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can change your language or display mode at any time and can erase locally stored preferences in your browser. You can avoid sending optional personal information in email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you sent us, email support@borchani.com with enough detail for us to locate the record. We may verify your identity before acting, and we will explain when an exception prevents a requested action.
Residents of states with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights, including to know, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of covered personal information and, where relevant, to opt out of certain sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. The availability and scope of those rights depend on the law and whether it applies to Borchani. You may use an authorized agent where the applicable law permits. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a right protected by law. We do not currently have an advertising sale or sharing practice on this public website for which an opt-out link would apply.
Children
The website and workspace are not directed to children under 18. Please do not send personal information about a child by email. If you believe a child has supplied information through our contact channel, let us know so we can review and address it.
Changes and contact
We may revise this policy when the website or our practices change. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will explain material changes on the site or through another appropriate channel before they take effect when required by law.
